Permission Slips for our Read Across America Week Peter's Pense Field Trips are due this Thursday, February 27th. Students who do not have the permission slip completed and returned will need to come down to the office to call home and a parent or guardian will need to come in and complete the form. Please email Secretary Angela Ahrns if you need a new copy of the permission slip that your child brought home.

March Lunch Menu
EARLY REGISTRATION RATE ENDS SOON! Just a reminder of enrollment information that was sent out at the beginning of December. Just like we did for this school year, for the 2025-2026 school year, we will be using an automatic re-enrollment system for our current students. This means that all students currently enrolled at Holy Angels School will be automatically re-enrolled for next school year with no registration paperwork needed from the family. Families will be billed the registration fee accordingly (see below for rates). Families who do not wish to enroll their child(ren) at Holy Angels next year must inform the school office by Wednesday, April 30, 2025. Failure to un-enroll your student(s) by that date will result in you being billed the registration fee, which is non-refundable and must be paid along with any other outstanding fees before we can transfer student records to the new school of choice. 2025-2026 Registration Fee rates are as follows: 1. Families who pay the registration fee at any point between now and February 28th will be charged the rate of $100 per family. Families who only have a Little Angels Preschool or Pre-Kindergarten student will be charged $25. 2. Families who pay the registration fee anytime between March 1st and April 30th will be charged the rate of $200 per family. Families who only have a Little Angels Preschool or Pre-Kindergarten student will be charged $30. 3. Families who have not paid their registration fee from May 1st onward will be charged $250 per family. Families who only have a Little Angels Preschool or Pre-Kindergarten student will be charged $50. If you believe your family would have any trouble paying the registration fee, please do not wait. Contact us as soon as possible as assistance is available. We do not want a family's financial situation to stop their child(ren) from attending Holy Angels School! Thank you for your understanding as we work to best serve staff, teachers, and Holy Angels families in preparing for next school year.
Thank you to all the parents, grandparents, and friends that came to enjoy all of our 6th and 8th grade science fair projects. We had 18 superior and 24 excellent projects. The students did an amazing job! Thank you to Mrs. Stiver for helping guide our students through the process.

Holy Angels School is hosting a student Book Swap during Read Across America Week this year, March 3rd-7th. Students are invited and encouraged (with permission from their parents or guardians first) to bring in gently used books for all ages that they no longer want or read at home. The books must be in good enough condition that another student would reasonably want it (no writing, missing pages, major damage to the cover, etc.) and it must also be an school-age appropriate book that does not contain any content contrary to the teachings of the Catholic Church. All books will be screened by our student council and by Mr. Bensman. For each book that a student brings in throughout the week that is accepted, that student will receive a ticket. On Friday, we will host the actual Book Swap, and students will be able to bring their ticket or tickets and pick out a new book to take home in exchange for the one they brought it. Staff, teachers, and parents are all invited to bring books as well if you have books at home taking up space that you no longer want. We can't wait for this fun event!
Unfortunately, due to the amount of school that has been missed lately, the decision has been made that Lehman's annual Choir Day, which includes the evening performance with Holy Angels choir students, has been cancelled. The students, both at Holy Angels but also at Lehman, are not prepared to perform. Lehman went over their calendar for the remainder of the year and there were not any makeup days available. We look forward to Choir Day next year and apologize for any inconvenience and disappointment this causes. Thank you for understanding.
Tomorrow's lunch will be Bosco Breadsticks, salad, fruit, and a brownie. Due to the closings the last recently, we will be changing a few of the lunches for next week. We will post the necessary changes to next week's menu over the weekend. Thanks for your understanding. Good Night.
We're excited to celebrate creativity as well as reading during Read Across America Week March 3rd-7th! Classrooms will be decorating their doors and bulletin boards to fit our Read Across America Week 2025 theme - Go Wild for Reading! We'll be sure to post lots of pictures of everyone's jungle and reading themed decorations, and the winning room will receive special prizes - free kids meal coupons for Texas Roadhouse and an Amazon gift card and a Jay and Mary's Book Center gift card for the adult.

Good Morning, Due to poor road conditions, Holy Angels Catholic School will be on a two-hour delay. There will be no Before Care and No Morning Pre-school or Pre-K. Second and Third Grade Field Trip is cancelled. Doors will open at 9:50 and school will begin at 10:15. Drive safely.
