2025-2026 School Year Enrollment/Registration Fee Reminders: We are using an automatic re-enrollment system for our current students. This means that all students currently enrolled at Holy Angels School will be automatically re-enrolled for next school year with no registration paperwork needed from the family. Families will be billed the registration fee accordingly (see below for rates). Families who do not wish to enroll their child(ren) at Holy Angels next year must inform the school office by Wednesday, April 30, 2025. Failure to un-enroll your student(s) by that date will result in you being billed the registration fee, which is non-refundable and must be paid along with any other outstanding fees before we can transfer student records to the new school of choice. The early registration rate of $100 per family ended as of March 1st. 2025-2026 Registration Fee rates are as follows: 1. Families who pay the registration fee anytime between now and April 30th will be charged the rate of $200 per family. Families who only have a Little Angels Preschool or Pre-Kindergarten student will be charged $30. 2. Families who have not paid their registration fee from May 1st onward will be charged $250 per family. Families who only have a Little Angels Preschool or Pre-Kindergarten student will be charged $50. If you believe your family would have any trouble paying the registration fee, please do not wait. Contact us as soon as possible as assistance is available. We do not want a family's financial situation to stop their child(ren) from attending Holy Angels School! Thank you for your understanding as we work to best serve staff, teachers, and Holy Angels families in preparing for next school year.

Our Pre-K students have started incubating eggs from Mrs. H’s flock this week! They were able to candle them today to check for any developments. This will be an ongoing project until the chicks hatch, at that point, the students will be able to watch them grow for a few weeks until the chicks are old enough to go to their permanent homes!

Today concluded Read Across America Week - Go Wild for Reading at Holy Angels School! It's more important now than ever to foster a love of reading in children and adults. We want to thank the following school teachers and staff members as well as others in the community for their help making this week a success for our students. Mrs. Kayla Huston and Mrs. Jennifer Hoersten for putting together the decorating contest - everyone's doors and bulletin boards turned out AWESOME. Mrs. Kris Schwarzman for making special person lunches a success and being patient and flexible with our many guests in the building for lunches throughout the week. Mrs. Carrie O'Leary for helping to get prizes and track information for Get Caught Reading and our AR point competition as well as working with Mrs. Denise Stauffer to get the Ignatius Press book fair here at the school. Mr. Weston Bensman for getting student council to help collect books in the morning for the book swap, especially 8th grader Sophie Sollman. Mrs. Michelle Voress for being a huge help to student council each morning at the book swap table. Mrs. Kylie Moeller for coordinating convenient times for Pause, Prowl, and Pounce that worked for everyone's schedule - several students reported they wish they could have 10 minutes of silent reading time every school day! Mrs. Julie Linson, Mrs. Kelly Gagnet, and Mrs. Melissa Blenman for working with us to put together great programming for our field trip visits to Peter's Pense Religious Library and for the volunteers at Peter's Pense who helped read stories and educate our students about the importance of the library. Congratulations goes out to all of our various winners this week: Mrs. Paulette Gradwell and her 3rd grade for winning the door decorating contest. Mrs. Gradwell received a goody bag with pens, a gift card, and a treat and the 3rd grade class received free Kids Meal coupons for both Applebees and Texas Roadhouse. 8th grader Sophie Sollmann for winning the AR point competition and getting the Kids Kindle Fire Tablet. Sophie, generous as always, ended up already having one and wanted the prize to go to the runner up - which was Oliver Bartow! That was very kind of Sophie and congratulations to Oliver. Talitha Bezy, Lucia Gradwell, Frankie Rhoades, Sophie Sollmann, and Beck Verhotz for winning the Get Caught Reading drawings - all 5 got to pick out an item to take home from the Ignatius Press book fair table. Families, please continue to make reading a priority in your home and happy Read Across America Week!

Holy Angels families, today is the last day to order from our 2025 Ignatius Book Fair at https://www.ignatiusbookfairs.com/ and receive FREE shipping on your order to the school. But don't worry, you can continue to order books all year through our online book fair, just not with free shipping. As we finish up Read Across America Week this week, we want to encourage all to continue to foster a love of reading in your home and with your children. Please consider doing a reading challenge in your home, and taking the pledge in your family! Please note, this reading pledge is a personal choice and is not something that needs to be completed and returned to school. Thanks to everyone who helped make Read Across America Week a success at Holy Angels School! We really Went Wild for Reading!
